Motorola, Partners Modernize Polish Prison Service’s Communications with DMR (MOTOTRBO Digital Mobile Radio)

The Polish Prison Service selected Motorola Solutions’ local partners Aksel and Siltec in a tender by the Polish Prison Service to fulfill a public contract to modernize its communications system. Under the contract, all penal institutions in Poland will be equipped with MOTOTRBO Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) technology to replace the prison service’s analog radio infrastructure with a proven digital radio communications solution. The experienced consortium will modernize the public-safety radio communications systems according to the Programme for the Modernisation of the Prison Service in 2017-2020 Act, which became law in 2016.
The modernization project represents an important milestone in the deployment of the digital radio communications system for the Polish Prison Service.

DMR Tier 2 Network from Hytera Used During Russian Youth Event

Hytera supplied a Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Tier 2 solution for Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief (EMERCOM) to provide radio communications and secure public safety during Winter Universiade 2019, which took place 2 – 12 March in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
Inter Universiade is an international student and youth competition, held under the auspices of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) at sub-zero temperatures. To ensure professional and reliable communications in harsh weather conditions and meet daily needs of EMERCOM, the company deployed its DMR Tier 2 infrastructure, radios, receive-only ear loop and remote speaker waterproof microphone.
In recent years, Hytera has been involved in large events such as G20 Summit, BRICS Summit 2017, FIFA World Cup 2018 and APEC 2018.
